WWE Monday Night Raw preview: 9 November, 2015

Time for mind games

Seth had to forfeit his title due to injuryAnticipation is a really powerful factor in the wrestling business. And after a long break, there is a truckload of anticipation among the fans. The irony is; WWE didn’t plant it there. Instead, it came as a direct effect of the injury suffered by Seth Rollins. Fans are interested to see how WWE will manage the situation and the pressure is really on WWE's shoulders to deliver. While the WWE championship scene is likely to play a major role in this week's episode, there are other storylines that need a mention as well. With that said, here is a look at the possible segments that WWE might come up with for Monday Night Raw.

#5 Paige Games

Time for mind games

Paige backed her words with action and earned a shot at the Divas Championship.

She will face Charlotte for the title at Survivor Series, but before the match, WWE has to come up with a strong build up for the showdown. There is a movement among the fans to back Sasha Banks and it will turn out to be a big headache for the creative team.

Paige is good when it comes to mind games and WWE should think about giving her the freedom to have some promos on the microphone to build up the feud. The women getting microphone time is what is good for business and the so called revolution.

#4 Still no answer from Brothers of Destruction

He took the souls

Bray Wyatt and his band of bearded monsters are still causing havoc in WWE. According to them, they took the souls of Undertaker and Kane.

Bray's faction has positioned themselves into a strong position right now and the next booking move from the WWE should be for the brothers of destruction. The duo have witnessed many mind games throughout the years and getting outclassed by the Wyatt family is not ideal for them ahead of Survivor Series.

Also, some light has to be thrown onto the potential teammates of the Deadman, If the traditional elimination tag team match is going to be booked for the pay-per-view in the first place.

#3 Midcard championships being wasted

mid card titles need to be sorted out this week

The midcard championships are something that desperately needs some limelight at the moment.

United States Championship had a good storyline when Alberto Del Rio won the title from John Cena, but the momentum is nowhere to be seen now. There is no clear challenger for the title which had a string of open challengers when Cena was holding it.

It is a similar situation with the Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Owens is a great performer and a good champion but still, WWE is not investing any time in building up a proper Championship feud for him. Both these titles need a direction before Survivor Series and hopefully WWE would give the same at this week's Raw.

#2 The Number one contender for vacant championship

wasted win?

Before Seth Rollins got injured and WWE's entire plans for the WWE championship went down the drain, Roman Reigns was the Number one contender for the Championship.

He was not handed the shot like most of the other superstars. Instead, he had to earn his chance by winning the tournament that WWE ran on Raw a couple of weeks back.

However, with Rollins taken out of the picture due to injury, the status of Reigns is up in the air. WWE should come up with a solid angle for the Samoan Superman and if he has to go into another tournament without any advantage, the developments from Raw, will go down as a complete waste of time.

#1 What, how and when of the Tournament

Authority has some big announcements to make

WWE has announced a tournament to decide the new WWE champion.

The tournament is all set to have a spot at Survivor Series and that is the only information we have about the situation. We have no idea about the superstars that are going to be involved, we have no idea about the format of the tournament and we also have no idea about how long it is going to span.

All these answers need to be made clear at this week's Raw and it should be WWE's first priority. Authority will probably have a big role in the whole storyline and rightfully so. If Rollins decides to show up to some capacity, it will be an interesting angle.
