Get ready for Owens Vs Balor III

Bayley Vs LynchNXT was a good show this week. Not only did it have the familiar faces present, it also had a great main event which cemented Bayley as the next challenger for the Women’s title. Bayley and Banks are finally going to have that one Takeover match that eluded them. We all know who’s going to win.NXT geared up for their Brooklyn show, the biggest one they’ll have till now. A new gimmick, a new entrance them combined with a fresh feud and a breakout star on the rise, this episode was all about the next big attractions in NXTHere are the 5 points to note.

#5 Brooklyn build-up

Get ready for Owens Vs Balor III

Firstly, its official. The main event is now a ladders match.

Secondly, Finn Balor made his way to his first match since becoming champion and he obviously won in style. His presence is terrific. But as we lean closer to Takeover: Brooklyn, Owens has to make his presence felt as well.

And so he made his way out to the ring after he attacked Balor from behind. And even though Balor escaped the Pop Up Powerbomb at ringside, he couldnt escape the one doled out to him in the ring.

#4 Tag team Bliss

Bliss is becoming a breakout star from the tag team division

Okay, so the most over tag team in NXT happens to be one of the most over acts in the WWE- Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

And even though the other tag teams are good, Alexa Bliss is the next over act in this division. She has completely thrived as a heel and is a difference maker of her team. She exudes the kind of presence Trish Stratus had. And even though Bayley and Eva Marie are going to be the next performers to take charge of the NXT divas division, Bliss also seems to be making her mark slowly but steadily.

She slapped he wits out of The Vaudevillains again this week.

#3 Perfect 10

New Gimmick Alert!

Don’t know if this is a breakthrough gimmick or if it’ll end up being reserved for comic relief segments but Tyle Dillinger debuted his new gimmick of the ‘Perfect 10’.

The audience was all up for this. They even had a signs of the numerical ‘10’. They collaborated in doing the ‘10’ chant. He’s a heel and the audience treated him like a face, which more or less tells you where Solomon Crowe’s booking stands!

This wasa decent debut and his haircut seemed quite apt to play the part of a brutally honest, full of himself gimmick.

#2 A new lease of life

Joe is gonna kill you.

Samoa Joe has a new theme song and sounds like major bad news for his opponents. Combine the beats with his walk and we have something really awesome to delve into here. Joe is exceptional on the mic and hes a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

Also, nobody like Baron Corbin. Hes an all out heel.

Joes prospects in NXT got a major boost with this fresh new challenge. He locked Corbin in a vicious Sleeper Hold and rendered him unconscious.

#1 The Revolution lies here

Over to Brooklyn.

No matter how much of a revolution the main roster speaks about, it hasnt generated much storyline interest except the fact that theyre going to get more television time.

NXT is a much better platform to nurture that revolution. This episode featured Becky Lynch Vs Bayley for the opportunity to face Sasha Banks for the NXT Womens title. It was the main event and it got nearly 20 minutes of the show.

The storyline is obviously rushed since it was only two weeks back when Bayley returned to announce that this is her chance to take the NXT title and then, immediately we got matches with Charlotte last week and Becky Lynch this week.

But anyway, her crowning moment is going to be glorious, given how over she has been as a babyface.
