WWE WrestleMania 32: 5 WWE stars who deserve a WrestleMania moment

Dean is one of the most popular superstars on the roster

Daniel Bryan realized his dream of headlining WM and had one of the greatest moments in the pay-per-view’s historyWe’re well and truly on our way to WrestleMania 32, and the business has picked up. At WWE Fastlane, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose will get into a dogfight to determine the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight championship, and get the opportunity to headline WrestleMania 32 along with Triple H.WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year in professional wrestling and is considered to be the granddaddy of sports entertainment. In previous years, icons such as The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart had the opportunity to headline WrestleMania.Every professional wrestler dreams of having his/her own WrestleMania moment, which cements their legacy.Going into this year’s WrestleMania, questions once again arise about who should get a spot on the card, and who should be ‘put over’. While the WWE roster is stacked with talent, only a handful stars get to be on the WrestleMania card.As such, today, we look at the five WWE stars who deserve to have their own WrestleMania moment.

#5 Dean Ambrose

Dean is one of the most popular superstars on the roster

The Lunatic Fringe was tipped to be the breakout star during his time with The Shield and was seen by many as the first member of the group to get his hands on the WWE World Heavyweight title. However, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have been given the opportunity to win the title, while Dean Ambrose is still stuck in the mid card.

While Dean is the WWE IC champion, his push is long overdue, and the WWE Universe has been asking the company to get behind Ambrose.

Dean has essentially played second fiddle to Roman Reigns, and while Dean is set to face Roman and Lesnar at WWE Fastlane, it is all but confirmed that Roman will be headlining this year’s WrestleMania. Considering the fact that Dean has better mic and in-ring skills than Roman, Dean deserves a better spot on the WrestleMania card than what he might eventually get.

WWE can play it smart and turn Dean heel, and then build him up from WrestleMania. After Seth and Roman, Dean deserves to be in the spotlight at WrestleMania and have his own WrestleMania moment this year.

#4 Cesaro

Cesaro deserves to have his WrestleMania moment and cement his status as a main eventer

The Swiss Superman has been on the sidelines since November due to a shoulder injury and is slated to return soon. With Cesaro traveling to Germany recently for the WWE live events, it is being speculated that the former WWE United States champion will be returning to in-ring competition soon.

Before his injury, Cesaro was building a head of steam, and would want to pick up where he left off once he returns.

Although Cesaro won the first edition of Andre ‘The Giant’ Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 30, his push went nowhere, and he ended up back in the mid card. Cesaro’s alliance with Paul Heyman turned out to be a disaster, and the Swiss superstar would want to erase that memory and put himself in the main event picture.

Cesaro is a workhorse and was putting on good to great matches before he got injured. Cesaro’s work ethic and the way he got himself over with the WWE Universe make him a prime candidate to have his WrestleMania moment this year, and get himself back into the main event scene.

#3 Kane

Kane is yet to have his WrestleMania moment

Kane has been one of the most loyal superstars, as well as one of the most underrated wrestlers for quite some time. Although Kane is a former WWE and World Heavyweight champion, he never truly was given the opportunity he deserved to headline WrestleMania.

While every other superstar Kane worked with in the main event picture had their WrestleMania moment, Kane continues to put the young stars over.

One believes that Kane doesn’t have too many WrestleManias left in his career, and much like his storyline brother, Kane will hang up his boots in the next couple of years. Kane has been one of the cornerstones for WWE, and as such deserves to have a WrestleMania moment.

Considering the fact that this may very well be Kane’s last WrestleMania, it would be the perfect time for WWE to give the ‘Devil’s favorite demon’ his WrestleMania moment.

#2 Stardust/Goldust

WWE lost quite a lot of legends in the past few years, and one of the biggest losses was that of ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes. Dusty revolutionized the business and is considered to be one of the greatest legends the business has ever seen. Dusty also worked closely with the stars on NXT and was responsible for the NXT stars learning the tricks of the trade and putting on great matches.

Dusty’s two sons, Stardust and Goldust have been workhorses in the company. Ever since Goldust made his return to the company, he put on some memorable matches with the likes of Randy Orton.

On the other hand, the Stardust character hasn’t elevated Cody’s career, and the superstar who was once tipped to be the next World Heavyweight champion seems to have lost his way.

This year’s WrestleMania should’ve provided the brothers with their WrestleMania moment, considering the fact that Goldust is a veteran, while Stardust should’ve been the future of WWE. However, with WWE going ahead with the Stardust – Stephen Amell program, and the fact that Goldust might not even be on the WrestleMania card throws a wrench in those plans.

#1 Dolph Ziggler

When you talk about the ‘should’ve beens’ in WWE, the one name that continues to perplex the WWE Universe is Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler, who is undoubtedly one of the most talented individuals on the roster, continues to linger in the mid card.

While people have speculated about Ziggler being in the proverbial dog house, the fact that Dolph hasn’t reached the upper echelons of the company continues to puzzle many.

The biggest night of Ziggler’s career came a couple of years ago, on the night after WrestleMania when he won the World Heavyweight title. Since then, Ziggler has become an afterthought, and while he continues to be immensely popular with the WWE Universe, there have been talks about Ziggler walking away from the company once his contract expires.

Although reports suggest that Ziggler has re-signed with the company, it is obvious that he has grown disenchanted with how WWE has been using him.

Irrespective of Ziggler’s future in wrestling, the former World Heavyweight champion deserves to headline WrestleMania. Ziggler’s body of work speaks for itself, and he has been one of the few workhorses in the company in the recent past.

Hopefully, WWE realizes Ziggler’s worth and gives him his WrestleMania moment before Ziggler decides to walk away from the business.
