WWE have just announced that The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express will be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame class. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, collectively known as The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, are regarded as one of the greatest tag teams in pro wrestling history and the accolade is surely well-deserved.
The duo was insanely popular back in the 80s as their rock and roll inspired gimmick blended well with the trends of that generation. The tag team have won countless titles across many notable promotions such as the NWAand CWA to name a few. They were one of the most successful acts in the Jimmy Crocket Promotions in the 80s, winning four Tag Team titles during that time.
