The Australian Open 2019 continued today with over 40 matches taking place across all courts at Melbourne Park.

Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Simona Halep, and Naomi Osaka, to name a few, all made it through to the next round.

The bottom half of the draw will begin their fourth-round matches on January 20. Defending champion and 3rd seed Roger Federer will take on Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas in what promises to be a great match.

Federer has not dropped a set in the tournament so far and has been broken only once. He began his campaign with a win against Denis Istomin in straight sets. He was tested by Great Britain's Dan Evans in the second round but managed to come out of that encounter in straight sets as well. In the 3rd round, he found it relatively easy against USA's Taylor Fritz, defeating him in straight sets too.

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas has won all three of his matches in 4 sets so far. He defeated Matteo Berrettini, Viktor Troicki, and Nikoloz Basilashvili respectively in the first three rounds.

Federer and Tsitsipas have only faced each other in the Hopman Cup so far, which took place a few weeks ago. Federer won that match in two tie-breakers, 7-6(5), 7-6(4).
