Maria Sharapova made a stunning entrance at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, dressed in a striking green gown that showcased her impeccable sense of style.

Since her retirement from professional tennis, Sharapova has become a regular fixture at fashion events around the world. In February, she attended the Moncler Genius fashion show during London Fashion Week, where she reunited with former rival Serena Williams.

At the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, the former World No. 1 made heads turn with a beautifully draped olive green dress and black leather gloves. She paired her look with sky-high black platform heels that gave her a more statuesque appearance.

By opting for minimal and natural makeup, the 35-year-old let the outfit and jewelry shine. She chose a simple sideswept sleek hairstyle to round out her look for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

While getting ready for the event, Maria Sharapova shared her opinion on some of her favorite looks from the Oscars 2023 red carpet. She gave her seal of approval to Cara Delevingne, Jennifer Connelly and Best Actress nominee Andrea Riseborough for their fashionable looks.

Known for being one of the most marketable tennis players in history, Maria Sharapova uses her vast experience to impart valuable advice to young athletes regarding endorsement deals.

On March 3, the five-time Grand Slam champion appeared on 'The Glossy Podcast' where she advised young athletes to be cautious in choosing the people they associate with. She also urged them to select partners who would help them grow and improve as individuals.

"Be smart with people you align with, and choose partners that will further help elevate who you are," she said.

The former World No. 1 further advised athletes to consider partnering with companies that are willing to invest in their marketing and personal development, even if the initial deal may not be huge. She suggested that such partnerships could be more valuable than accepting large paychecks from a company that may not have much marketing spend or long-term potential.

"Relationships that maybe start as smaller deals, but have a very strong foundation that will put in marketing dollars to elevate you as a human, might be worth more than taking a big paycheck from a company that doesn’t have a lot of marketing spend," she said.

Maria Sharapova's advice on endorsement matters is especially relevant given her impressive financial success in the tennis world. As the fourth highest earner in the history of the WTA tour, Sharapova's expertise in negotiating and securing lucrative endorsements has clearly paid off.
