Williams' ensemble was a figure-hugging dress with long sleeves and a flowing, slit skirt, all crafted from luxurious black velvet. The designer, Brandon Blackwood, created a deep neckline with a sheer base that added the perfect finishing touch to the piece, creating a sophisticated and alluring look.

The 41-year-old was styled by renowned celebrity stylist Kesha McLeod in a custom velvet gown designed by Blackwood. To complete her look, Williams donned a pair of black pumps adorned with jewels.

Serena Williams was enveloped in an array of dazzling diamond jewelry. The ornaments included a necklace from XIV Karats and a pair of striking pendant earrings. She styled her hair in bouncy curls and finished off her glamorous look with bold pink lips.

Serena Williams was recently honored by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People at the 54th NAACP Image Awards with the prestigious Jackie Robinson Sports Award.

Williams has won an impressive 23 Grand Slams throughout her career. Her remarkable tennis accomplishments, along with her success in business, philanthropy, and fashion, have cemented her status as one of the most iconic figures in the world.

The award is named after iconic baseball legend Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier by becoming the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball. This award is a testament to Williams' remarkable achievements in the world of sports.

Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the NAACP, was elated to bestow the award upon the 23-time Grand Slam Champion.

"Serena Williams is the quintessential example of Black excellence. From her record-breaking wins on the tennis court to her business acumen to her philanthropic endeavors, she has set the bar for athletes everywhere. We are proud to honor and celebrate her with this year's Jackie Robinson Sports Award," he said.

Upon receiving the prestigious award, Williams was elated and deeply humbled.

"I'm incredibly humbled to be amongst some of the greatest names in today's culture, celebrating those who promote equity through creative endeavors. Together, we are a team of trailblazers, and we represent what is possible, when you truly believe in yourself, and your potential, and follow your life and passion," she said.

The likes of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry have previously won the award.
