Kalen DeBoer’s Alabama extends offer to Mario Nash Jr.

Alabama, under the leadership of coach Kalen DeBoer, has extended an offer to Mario Nash Jr., a standout football recruit for the 2025 season, as an interior offensive lineman (IOL).

He is from De Kalb, Mississippi, where he plays for Kemper County High School. The high school football scene has seen the impressive talent of the 6-foot-5, 285-pound player.

Nash has recently received an offer from Alabama, which has added to more than 20 offers he has from top colleges. He has been a standout player, and notably, he was named OL MVP during Under Armour Next Camp in Atlanta.

Nash’s recruitment journey is bustling with activity. He has scheduled official visits to several top-tier programs: Clemson from May 31 to June 2, Ole Miss from June 7 to 9, LSU from June 14 to 16, and Mississippi State from June 21 to 23. His longstanding positive relationship with Mississippi State is particularly notable.

As a junior, Nash helped his team to get a 9-3 record and became a first-team all-state honoree. The junior year of his film was about his physicality and toughness.

Nash's outstanding offer list includes LSU, Clemson, Florida State, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Houston, Illinois, Jackson State, Kentucky, Maryland, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi Valley State, Missouri, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Southern Miss, Tulane, Virginia Tech, Akron, Boston College and Duke.

  • Myles Johnson, LB, 6-1, 220, Brewton, Ala.
  • Antonio Coleman, DL, 6-2, 285, Saraland, Ala.

One of those, Anthony Rogers — the 4-star football running back from Montgomery — possesses noteworthy speed with a 4.48 40-yard dash and an 11.29 100-meter dash.

T.R. Miller School four-star linebacker Myles Johnson hopes to come back strongly from the knee injury he sustained last season. Antonio Coleman, a 4-star defensive lineman, can be characterized as a roller coaster in the recruitment journey. He passed to Alabama from Auburn after committing to the latter for two months.
