On April 26, 2024, Big Hit Music unveiled the promotional schedule for BTS RM's upcoming album Right Place, Wrong Person, on X. The contents related to the upcoming work will be released in the first week of May and continue till the second week of June.
The promotional schedule includes Concept Photo 1, Concept Photo 2, track poster, title track music video, teasers, tracklist, live video, and others.

Big Hit Music announced the release of BTS RM's second solo studio album, Right Place, Wrong Person, through a press release on the South Korean social media platform Weverse. The pre-order for the album has started from April 26, 2024, and could be purchased till May 23, 2024. It will be available both in online and offline stores. The physical album will be available in four versions: A, B, C, and Weverse Album (QR).
