Who is Kola Boof? Novelist accuses Diddy of abusing Kim Porter in series of tweets after Cassie footage emerges

As footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs supposedly beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura emerged online, author Kola Boof accused the music mogul of treating the late Kim Porter with similar physical assault.

Referring to the CNN-obtained surveillance video, Boof made a series of posts on X on May 17, addressing Kim as her friend. The 55-year-old writer Sudan-born writer wrote the viral footage of Puffy supposedly assaulting Cassie did not surprise her, rather:

"It makes me remember the horrible way he treated my friend"

Kola Boof said she met Puffy’s late girlfriend Kim Porter only once at a charity event and after that, they spoke on the phone a few times. Goof recalled one call where Kim cried because she loved Puffy very much and couldn't bring herself to leave him.

Kola Boof claims Diddy used to humiliate Kim Porter in front of Cassie

Born Naima Bint Harith, Kola Beef witnessed her parents’ assassination at the age of eight. She then moved to the United States when an African-American family adopted her. There, Boof set out on her path as a writer, poet and activist.

Boof often becomes involved in controversies due to her unfiltered opinions and outspoken nature. In her latest tirade against Diddy, she shared certain details from when the record producer was in a relationship with Kim Porter. Kola Boof claimed Cassie used to laugh at Puffy beating Kim Porter:

"CASSIE back then allowed herself to be used to disrespect Kim in her own home. Cassie let herself be flaunted in Kim's face...LAUGHED at Diddy beating Kim. Was awful."

The writer continued she felt bad for Cassie Ventura but said that the latter let Puffy use her as racially superior to Kim. Boof wrote that Diddy humiliated and physically abused Kim for years in front of Cassie.

Kola Boof further shared an explicit detail of Puffy's alleged torture against Kim Porter. The author also accused netizens of demonizing women.

When an X user questioned the truthfulness of Kola Boof's statements against Diddy, she asserted that even though she met Kim only once, they kept in touch. Boof added that she believed everything Kim Porter had told her.

Kola Boof claimed that Diddy brought a teenage Cassie home while Kim Porter was there and humiliated her in front of the R&B singer.

The surveillance footage that emerged online is reportedly from March 2016. As per Cassie Ventura's lawsuit filed last year in November, the incident occurred at Century City's InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles — a hotel thats' now closed.
