After delivering a terrific performance at the World Athletics Relay, Noah Lyles is looking forward to his Adidas Atlantic City Games 2023. He has opened up about having the 'best practice of his career' at the Atlanta City Games and will be seen running in the men's 150m event.

The Adidas Atlanta City Games will be held on May 18, at Piedmont Park. Noah Lyles will be competing against the likes of Zharnel Huges, Alexander Ogando, Akani Simbani, and his brother, Josephus Lyles.

In a conversation with "Citius Mag", Noah Lyles claimed that he had the best practice of his career at the Atlanta City Games. He then went on to elaborate on the regime that he followed during this workout.

Lyles said,

"We were doing 60s and they were by far the fastest times I've ever.. I'm going to put it like this, they were Tyson Gay 97 times, 9.7 low times. And, that's why I believe in it."

Citius Mag shared the clip on their X account and wrote:

"100m World Champion breaks down his current training times after recently saying he had the best practice of his career. He'll be racing in the 150m Dash at the Adidas Atlanta City Games on Saturday.""

Noah Lyles reveals the reason behind running 150 and his future plans for the year

In the same interview, Noah Lyles talked about taking his preparation "step by step" and why he has his eyes on the 150m event. He said,

"So, in my eyes, the 150 is that perfect in between 200 and 100. After this race is when we're getting really serious. I have been doing World relays, I've been doing some Tom Jones racing, it is just so to get the rust off. After this, the rust is off," he said [at 0:16].

When asked if he is more focused on the Paris Olympics than his present event, Lyles answered,

"It's back and forth. I'd say about 50/50. You know I got to be in the moment, taking race by race and I got to take it practice by practice and building blocks on top of each other," he said [at 2:30].

Noah Lyles further added,

"Every time I get to the track, I'm doing what I need to be done and you know what we say in the sport is if you breed consistency, you'll see improvement. That's how I take racing and just doing that as a whole has been having a better year than any other other year that I've been training," Lyles added [at 2:49].
