The Circle season 6 dropped it's latest batch of episodes on Wednesday, April 14, 2024. Episode 5 started by picking up from the last epsiode's cliffhanger, where fans waited to see who Myles sent home after being chosen as an influencer in episode 4. The cast was informed that one of them was an AI bot and the rest of the contestants were convinced it was Steffi.

After her elimination, the cast found out Max was AI, leaving everyone in shock. While in conversation with Parade Magazine about discovering Max's true identity, Steffi said:

"I was onto Max! I was on to him from the beginning. Again, a lot of that wasn't show. But I was like, 'Something's up with Max.' And when Myles came, I was like, 'You need to keep an eye on Max. There's something about him that doesn't feel right.'"

Steffi reacts to The Circle season 6 contestants thinking she was AI

During the conversation, The Circle season 6 contestant opened up about the other cast members being certain that Steffi was the AI bot. She said that due to her profession as an astrologer, she believed there was "a lot of confirmation bias."

She added that there was a lot of judgment and she was used to people not "fully grasping" astrology. The Circle season 6's eliminated contestant said astrology wasn't "everyone's cup of tea."

"So I totally get that. But I found it funny that people were like, 'It was too generic,' and other people were like, 'It was too specific."'

The cast member said that she was "scrambling" but it was part of her strategy. She wanted to get every contestant's horoscope in the game so she could use it to make alliances.

Chiming in about the AI bot catfishing as Max, Steffi further said that upon watching episodes of The Circle season 6, she felt that it was "unfair" that Max was "campaigning against" her. She said that he had an advantage and knew who everyone was.

"And so that was really kind of hard to watch. Becausse I felt like I didn't have a lot of chances to defend myself like maybe some of the other AI suspects did. And watching him go after me, I was like, 'He's smart!'"

The Circle season 6 contestant was asked about channeling her "dead aunt" while competing in the reality show and was asked if she was also suspicious of Max. Steffi said that she had been getting visions about Max since the beginning of the show. She added that when the crew announced the AI twist, she woke up with several dreams.

Steffi also noted that she started questioning herself and since the stakes were so high, and she didn't get adequate sleep, she wasn't as "attuned" to her gifts as she wanted to be.

"But the spirit kept on showing his face every single day. And the second after I was blocked, I woke up the next morning after a full night's sleep. And I was like, "It was Max!" Everything just came up once. And so it was really hard for me to discern those moments of intuition in the game."

The Circle season 6 cast member also chimed in about her elimination, and taking a dig at Myles during her exit message. Steffi said that the emotions were high and she did not envy Myles for being in the position that he was in. The contestant believed that Myles made a "logical" decision but had a "gut feeling" that he knew she was "real."

Steffi added that she didn't think Myles liked her based on her astrology and possibly even her "belief system." While she was okay with the decision, she said that she felt it was personal, which is why she "lovingly" called him out.

Episodes of The Circle season 6 are available to stream on Netflix.
