The Never Ever Mets: Dominique and Alexis' fight turns physical

The Never Ever Mets, OWN's latest reality show featuring seven couples who met their partners for the first time in real life while on the series, aired a brand new episode on Friday, April 26, 2024. During this installment, fans witnessed a fight between Dominique and Alexis, which turned physical as the male cast member aggressively held his girlfriend and pushed her for being "disrespectful."

Dominique and Alexis met for the first time while filming the show, much like the other couples. While Alexis was excited about the same, Dominique's first impression of his partner wasn't entirely positive. He believed she didn't look as good as she did in her pictures.

However, the male cast member realized he was focusing on the wrong things, and their situation soon began looking up. However, their happiness seemed shortlived as later that night, the two got into a fight because Dominique felt Alexis was doing "things" that could be considered cheating.

Their conversation took a turn when Dominque held her close and told her she was being disrespectful. While this seemed like playful banter to others at first, the male cast member later pushed her and held her by her neck.

"I'm embarrassed, I'm scared": Alexis opens up about her fight with Dominique in The Never Ever Mets season 1 episode 2

In The Never Ever Mets season 1 episode 2, titled, It's Complicated, IRL, an argument about flirtatious behavior turned into a physical altercation between Dominique and Alexis. In a confessional, Alexis explained what happened. The season 1 cast member said that the two started off on a good note but things soon took a turn.

"He yelling at me like I'm his child, I'm embarrassed, I'm scared, it's crazy," Alexis said.

Dominique was upset with his girlfriend, Alexis because she commented on another cast member's shorts. While in conversation with her boyfriend, she apologized for the comment but things didn't simmer down. While apologizing, Alexis expressed frustrations of her own with Dominique. The Never Ever Mets male reality star held Alexis close with a hand on her neck and asked if he had ever disrespected her.

The female cast member told him that he had and Dominique pushed her. Alexis got upset and told him not to do so. Dominique then held her by her neck and pushed her again. Alexis then started hitting him as other cast members intervened.

"I'm not f*cking with you, hit me again, I don't give a f*ck, don't touch me," Alexis warned the The Never Ever Mets cast member.

Dominique told Alexis that he would "f*ck her up" and the cast member dared him to touch her again. As another cast member took Dominique away, Alexis told everyone he pushed her.

Dominique spoke to Josh about the fight and told him that he just called out his partner for being disrespectful.

Meanwhile, Alexis spoke to Shay about the fight and told her that Dominique pushed her. Shay, who witnessed the events unfold on The Never Ever Mets, assured Alexis that she saw everything that happened.

"I don't like men putting their hands on women," Shay told the cameras.

When Shay and Alexis returned inside the house, Shay told Dominique to calm down while the latter defended himself. As the argument about which one of the cast members was flirting with others continued, OWN's production crew stepped in and removed Dominique from the villa.

They told Alexis that her boyfriend wouldn't come back that night and was staying in a hotel. Later in the episode, the host informed Alexis that as the show had a strict policy against violence, she and her partner would have to pack their bags and leave.
