The Nike Dunk Low Glacier Blue shoes recently appeared on the internet. The Swoosh label gave a similar glacier blue makeover to another of its classic sneaker models, the Nike Air Force 1 Low.

Nike's Dunk Low silhouette has a long history. During the 1985–86 college basketball period, Nike came up with the notion of coordinating warmups and shoes in the colors of the best collegiate teams. Hence, the College Colors Program and the Dunk came into being. Injecting a burst of color into college athletics, the vast collection of clothes and footwear was a hit with players and spectators alike.

However, it turns out that others who weren't into college basketball were also drawn to the vibrant hues. The Dunk's adaptability allowed it to become a platform for international art, fashion, music, and culture.

The latest “Glacier Blue” rendition of the Nike Dunk Low model entered the sneaker market most recently. This pair is offered in adult sizing options with a selling price label of $115 per pair. They are being sold via the online and offline sites of Nike. Sizes for both men and women can be bought.

New colorways of the Dunk Low continue to be released by Nike on a monthly basis. Even though the buzz surrounding the Dunk is at a record level, these general release combinations continue to come and go.

In addition to combinations such as Summit White Photo Blue, Black Michigan, and Waffle, there is now a new pair that has arisen among the available options. It is the Nike Dunk Low Glacier Blue that was most recently launched by the Swoosh label.

The description of this Nike Dunk Low Glacier Blue variant on the Swoosh’s site reads:

“Recognizing the Dunk's roots as the top-ranking college team sneaker, the "Be True To Your School" pack looks to the original ad campaign for inspiration. Colors represent top-flight universities, while crisp leather has the perfect amount of sheen to make 'em a hands-down win. So lace up and show off that varsity spirit. Ya game?”

The Nike Dunk Low Glacier Blue wears white leather underlies and glacier blue overlays, and it features a traditional colorblocking pattern that combines two different colors.

The top is made entirely of leather, and it is wonderfully complemented by a nylon tongue and a mesh sockliner. In addition to the tongue tag, the insoles, and the rear heel tab, the Nike branding is displayed in white.

A typical Dunk tooled midsole in white is placed on top of a solid rubber outer sole unit in glacial blue.

The origins of the Dunk Low silhouette are underlined by the brand in the following words:

“From backboards to skateboards, the influence of the Nike Dunk is undeniable. Although introduced as a basketball shoe in 1985, its flat and grippy soles were perfect for a neglected sports community—skaters. Uncovering a subculture craving creativity as much as function, Dunk released decades of countless colorways that continue to capture the soul of skaters from coast to coast.”

Don't miss out on the Nike Dunk Low Glacier Blue shoes that are currently purchasable from the brand's site.
