Myron Gaines, popularly known as the host of the Fresh and Fit podcast, recently debated students on a college campus. On April 22, a student organisation, Uncensored America, hosted the event titled “Why Women Deserve Less” at the University of South Carolina.
The USC student organisation received a lot of flak for going ahead with hosting a debate on a controversial topic and involving Gaines in it. The event videos have been going viral on the internet.
Netizens quickly took to X to express their opinions on Myron Gaines debating students at USC, wherein an X user compared him to conservative political activist and author, Charlie Kirk. The conservative political activist recently debated students at Boise State about transgender issues. Comparing the 2, the X user tweeted:
"So bro wanna be Charlie Kirk now? 😭"
"Lol this is not debating or proactive just hateful ragebating," an X user commented.
"This dude does nothing for his cause. He’s not there to debate, he’s there to just try to dunk on college kids. He’s not there to actually try to change any minds or opinions and is just reinforcing these kids hatred for his agenda," another X user mentioned.
"This is embarrassing. You must be seriously low-IQ to even call this a conversation, let alone a debate," an internet user stated.
"This isn’t debating, this is just him talking s**t. And I’m a Charlie Kirk fan," another netizen said.
Additionally, internet users expressed discontent with the kind of conversation Myron Gaines was having with students, given that he asked a student to be in the kitchen and passed other contentious remarks as well.
"MAKE IT MAKE SENSE LMAO. I don't take Myron seriously. Its just troll content," an X user tweeted.
On the other hand, some netizens dubbed Myron's comments as comedy:
"Myron up there speaking true words wrapped in trolling. Hate him as much as you need, this is still comedy," a netizen commented.
