India’s continued their excellent start at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Bangkok as Gaurav Sharma clinched the bronze in the 59kg Greco-Roman model, defeating Eun-Bin Kim of Korea.
This is now India’s fourth medal at the event inside the opening 2 days. Hardeep Singh won the silver in the 98kg category of the Greco-Roman model after beating Mahdi Abbas Aliyarifeizabadi from Iran in the Gold medal match.
Harpreet Singh won the first out of the three bronze, beating Jonibek Otabekov from Uzbekistan and then Naveen naveen winning yet another bronze, beating Sun He of China in the 130 kg Greco-Roman bout to get India off to a fine start in the competition.

This also rounds-off the Greco-Roman phase of the competition and India should certainly be happy with their performance in this stage.
The Asian Wrestling Championships is the second phase of the qualification process for the Rio Olympics.
