Ladies and gentlemen the long, long annual wait for WrestleMania is almost over, and it’s nearly time to see what WWE can conjure up for their biggest event of the year. New Orleans is full of thousands of energetic wrestling fans on what is the busiest weekend of the year for the business, and they’re all ready to see something special.

From top to bottom you could argue that this card has something for everyone, with even the pre-show being about as stacked as we could’ve hoped. Given the quality of the last Mania to take place in New Orleans they’ve certainly got their work cut out for them if they want to try and top it, but we’ve come to learn that nothing is impossible when it comes to WWE.

So with all of that being said, it’s time to take a look at our 10 possible booking ideas for WrestleMania 34.

#1 Braun vs The World

Who will be Braun's partner in crime?
Who will be Braun's partner in crime?

Braun Strowman is the greatest man alive and we’ll fight anyone who disagrees. The Monster Among Men is one of the biggest stars in WWE right now, and while he should probably be in a more profile bout than this, he’s still got the chance to win the Raw Tag Team Championships. Unfortunately, we still don’t know who his partner is going to be.

Some are saying it’ll be Samoa Joe and others have suggested The Big Show, but if it was up to us, we’d have Braun face them on his own. After all, the guy has been single-handedly destroying just about everyone in his path since debuting on the main roster, so why not keep that momentum going? You can have The Bar still look good in defeat, and having one man hold the belts would create an interesting dynamic moving forward.

#2 Solidify The Turn

It's coming
It's coming

We all know that the Sasha and Bayley feud is probably leading to an official Banks heel turn somewhere down the line, and we think it should get the green light on the grandest stage of them all. Banks and Bayley can be the final two left standing in the Women’s Battle Royal, and The Boss can turn on The Huggable One by cheating to pick up the victory.

Then, if you really want to rubber stamp the turn, she could attack Bayley after the bout before celebrating like only a true heel could with the trophy. You could then have an angle where Bayley is put on the shelf for a few months before she returns to challenge Banks at SummerSlam – in the same city where they had their famous Brooklyn encounter just a few years ago.

#3 The Revival Rises

What a team
What a team

Much like Braun winning the Tag Team Championships, this would be a little bit unconventional. The Revival should be positioned as one of the most effective and dominant teams in all of WWE, but they haven’t really been able to regain their momentum following a string of injuries. If they want to bounce back in a big way, WWE should book both Dash & Dawson to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

They could eliminate every other person in the match, and then just when it looks like they’re going to battle it out, they both eliminate themselves at the same time before returning to the ring in order to celebrate their triumph. It’d give them a great deal of heat, and it’d actually give them something legitimate to brag about over the next few months on Raw before eventually taking the belts from Strowman.

#4 20-Minute War

Yes please
Please?

The Usos have been talking a lot about how they’ve never had a match on the main card of WrestleMania, and as we now know, that’s going to change in New Orleans. They’ll be defending their straps against The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers, in a contest which will likely be in the running for ‘Match of the Night’ once all is said and done at the Superdome.

They need to be given time in order to accomplish this, however, which is why we’d like to suggest giving them at least 20 minutes on the main card. It’s risky given how much they need to get through, but it’ll work like a charm as the opener to the show. The crowd would be electric given the three teams involved, and we’ve already seen just how much chemistry all seven of them have.

#5 Shut Off The Lights

KINSHASA!
KINSHASA!

The build for the WWE Championship match in New Orleans has been interesting, to say the least, with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura both attempting to get inside the mind of their opponent. It’s made for some interesting television on SmackDown Live, but now, it’s time for the real show to begin as they attempt to improve upon their contest at Wrestle Kingdom a few years back.

For this booking step we want to see something very simple: Nakamura shuts off Styles’ lights with the most impactful Kinshasa of all time. We want to see AJ actually kick out of the finisher to begin win, over for Nakamura to knock him out cold in order to finally win the strap. Then, you could have Styles turn heel on Shinsuke 48 hours later, setting up a blockbuster rematch at the next pay per view.

#6 One Last Ride

The literal end of an era
The literal end of an era

No, we don’t want to see biker Taker – that isn’t what the title is in reference to.

What we do want to see, though, is John Cena vs The Undertaker main eventing WrestleMania 34. That’s going to sound a little ridiculous to some people, but come on now, do you really think it’d be smart for them to end Mania with a triumphant Roman Reigns win for the third year in a row?

WWE knows they need a big moment to round things off, and having the official retirement match of The Undertaker would achieve that goal perfectly. We’d want Taker to defeat Cena in the final showdown of his illustrious career before he utters the words ‘Rest In Peace’ before descending into the darkness.

In order to distinguish it from last year’s ending, they could probably get away with Taker issuing a short speech on Raw the following night.

#7 The Tweener Turn

Will he or won't he?
Will he or won't he?

If you’re still claiming that you have absolutely no interest in seeing Reigns vs Lesnar 2, then you’re lying to yourself. The story they’ve been building ever since Elimination Chamber has been great to see, with the part-timer Brock continuing to get one over on The Big Dog. Plus, and many fans seem to be forgetting this, their initial encounter at WrestleMania 31 was extremely entertaining.

In order for this match to feel like a success, we need two things to happen: Roman Reigns needs to win the Universal Championship, and he needs to confirm his status as a tweener. After not being able to put The Beast Incarnate down, he needs to go full Stone Cold at WrestleMania 17 by pummelling him with a chair. It won’t be pretty, but it’s better than him winning completely clean.

#8 The Miz Steals One

This bout is full of potential
This bout is full of potential

The beauty of a triple threat match is that it gives the heel champion a great way of clinging to his title by the skin of his teeth. The other two opponents can beat the living tar out of each other, only for the bad guy to swoop in and steal the pinfall. That, in essence, is exactly what we want to see when The Miz defends his Intercontinental Championship on Sunday.

Balor and Rollins are both superstars who will go on to hold the world title again someday, but they don’t need this victory. The Miz’s last major WrestleMania moment came way back in 2011 when he defeated John Cena in the main event in Atlanta, and given just how great his current heel run has been, he deserves a moment like this at the granddaddy of them all.

#9 Rousey Smash

She's getting better
She's getting better

Ronda Rousey is a former UFC champion and could legitimately dismantle 99% of the WWE roster. Stephanie McMahon is an executive, who last wrestled Brie Bella a few years back at SummerSlam. Now while Triple H and Kurt Angle may be slightly better matched, there’s only one way that this match can go – Ronda makes Steph look like a complete amateur.

While McMahon has experienced comeuppance in back to back Manias at the hands of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, it’ll be nothing compared to this. The WWE Universe needs to see that Rousey can take to pro wrestling like a fish to water, and there’s no better way to exemplify that than by having her dismantle Stephanie in a one sided affair. Book it, Vince.

#10 The Bryan Show

Yes! Yes! Yes!
Yes! Yes! Yes!

Daniel Bryan is set to return to the ring as an official in-ring competitor, and isn’t that just a great thing to hear out loud? The leader of the Yes Movement has fought for two years now to try and get official clearance by WWE, and it’s finally happening. All of his hard work is about to pay off, and you just know that it’s going to be marvelous.

This match needs to be all about Bryan because, to be honest, that’s how it has been set up. Zayn and Owens will know how to make him look like a million bucks in there, and while it’ll be a close encounter, the match simply has to end with Bryan kneeing one of their heads into the front row before securing the victory.

Yes. Yes. Yes.
