Ricochet has no doubt impressed each and every fan on the main roster since moving up to RAW a couple of months ago. The high flying superstar's breathtaking aerial offences are such incredible and beautiful to watch, that he's so quickly become one of the biggest fan-favourite babyfaces on the red brand.
The former NXT North American Champion has recently been competing as a tag team alongside the former NXT Champion, Aleister Black. These two were quite impressive as a tag team for sure, even winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament this year in NXT. They also challenged the SmackDown Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania but couldn't really manage to win the tag belts.
At Superstar Shake-up, Aleister Black got moved to SmackDown, and as a result of that, these two will again compete as a singles competitor going forward.

This week on RAW, The Goddess, Alexa Bliss announced the 4 participants for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match. These 4 participants were -
- The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman
- The Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre
- The former general manager of RAW, Baron Corbin
- The one and only, Ricochet
These 4 would now represent RAW at the annual Money in the Bank ladder match scheduled to take place on May 19th, at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
While the other 3 superstars were clear choices to represent RAW at MITB, Ricochet's inclusion was a nice little surprise for the fans.

Logically, out of the 4 contenders announced so far, Ricochet isn't the clear favourite to win the MITB ladder match. Other than being smaller in size, Ricochet is also competing in this match for the first time in his career, while the other 3 have already been a part of the MITB match previously in their careers, with 2 of them even winning it.
Having a dark horse like Ricochet definitely adds to the drama, as if WWE somehow decides to pull the trigger on him and make him Mr Money in the Bank, it'll be a huge shock for everyone.

Ricochet hasn't just impressed the fans in WWE with his wrestling, but also backstage officials, WWE higher authority, and former legends as well.
In the tweet above, you can see The Rock referring to Ricochet as "the leader of the new era". Now that's no smaller achievement to be called a "leader" from the People's Champion and it clearly shows how over Ricochet is.
Triple H has also mentioned many times how highly he rates Ricochet, as he has worked closely with him in NXT before he moved up to the main roster a few months ago.
