On the 4th February 2019 episode of Raw, the WWE Universe witnessed Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber 2019 PPV event as WWE will crown the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

There are six official teams that are scheduled to compete in the steel structure, with one more team that has yet to be announced.

However, it seems obvious that The Boss 'n' Hug Connection is set to win the Women's tag team titles for the first time. Here are five reasons to explain why.

#5 They are the clear favourites

The Tag Team Elimination Chamber match is full of teams that have what it takes to win gold.

You have Nia Jax and Tamina who have proven to be a dominant force as of late. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have been featured greatly on Smackdown as both of their characters are shining due to Rose's feud with Naomi.

The Riott Squad are also having a good showing as they have been having issues with Ronda Rousey as of late.

The IIconics are a solid tag team on paper, they are the only team that doesn't have enough momentum to be considered as winners due to all the times in which they have lost matches.

It's clear that The Boss 'n' Hug Connection are the favourites to win the huge match at the PPV event.

This is because they are the most credible and established tag team due to the number of title reigns they share with each other. It's clear that they are also as strong as ever, which is evident from the video below.

#4 A future WWE/MMA Four Horsewoman rivalry

Could this match occur?
Could this match occur?

It is no secret that a rivalry consisting of MMA's Four Horsewomen as well as WWE's Four Horsewomen has been rumoured to be on the cards for several years now.

WWE may have Sasha Banks & Bayley win the titles so that they can look strong enough for a future Horsewomen battle.

Despite the fact that Ronda Rousey is the current Raw Women's Champion, and that her partners in Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke are currently competing together on NXT, it seems as if this rivalry with Sasha Banks, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Charlotte may happen in the future.

On the Royal Rumble 2019 event, we saw Ronda Rousey defend her title against Sasha Banks. It was an exceptional match, as we witnessed Rousey defeat Banks to retain her title.

However, after the match, despite the fact that Rousey had helped Banks up to her feet, Banks went onto to throw the "4 Horsewoman" sign at Rousey which increased speculation WWE has not forgotten about this match.

The following night on Raw, we saw Bayley challenge Ronda Rousey to a match with the title on the line. Rousey soundly defeated Bayley after a gruelling match, but following this victory, we saw Becky Lynch make an appearance on Raw to a big pop. However, in unseen footage, we saw Lynch and Bayley share a special moment as they threw the 4 fingers at each other.

It doesn't seem like this potential match will take place on the Road to Wrestlemania, due to Lynch challenging Rousey at Wrestlemania 35, along with the possibility of Charlotte being added into the mix.

But with all four of WWE's Horsewomen currently being babyfaces, and a potential Ronda Rousey heel turn on the cards, it seems likely this match may come into fruition after Wrestlemania 35.

#3 To give Sasha Banks a lengthy title run

Even though Sasha Banks is currently a four-time WWE Raw Women's Champion, the truth is that she hasn't had a title reign that has felt important.

This is because Sasha Banks has reportedly been overlooked by Vince McMahon in favour of Charlotte.

However, there is a chance to redeem The Boss' short title reigns by having her and Bayley win the tag team titles.

This is so that The Boss 'n' Hug Connection can have a long title reign to not only boost Sasha Banks' legacy but to also give the new championship titles a meaning.

We have previously seen that Banks is more than capable of being a great champion due to her NXT Women's Championship title reign over on NXT. But this time, with Bayley added in the mix, she can share her moment with someone who is clearly her best friend.

#2 To continue their journey

Banks and Bayley have had a roller-coaster ride
Banks and Bayley have had a roller-coaster ride

The story between Sasha Banks and Bayley has been a roller-coaster ride so far for both of them.

In 2018, we saw the year began with Banks and Bayley not being able to trust each other due to the fact that Banks had helped Alexa Bliss eliminate Bayley during the first ever Elimination Chamber match for the Raw Women's Championship at Elimination Chamber 2018.

After that PPV, we then saw Bayley and Banks have tension for several months which even led to Bayley brutally attack Banks after she had enough of The Boss' attitude.

This storyline then continued as we saw Bayley and Banks be forced to take counselling classes which were hosted by Dr. Shelby in an attempt to fix their friendship.

On the July 16th, 2018 edition of RAW, we then saw Banks reconcile with Bayley despite their differences which led to them reuniting the following week as we saw their tag team be created out of reconciliation.

The fans have been able to witness their journey since they first began as a tag team, and the best way to continue this path of being on the same page would be to have them become the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions.

#1 A potential match with Trish Stratus and Lita at WrestleMania 35

When it comes to "Dream Matches" for The Boss 'n' Hug Connection, there clearly wouldn't be anything better than to have them go face to face with WWE Hall of Famers in Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 35.

Funnily enough, this match has been rumoured to take place at The Grandest Stage of them All (iWNerd) for a while now.

Trish and Lita were originally set to take on Alexa Bliss and Mickie James at the first-ever all Women's PPV in Evolution 2018, before their Alicia Fox replaced Bliss due to The Goddess suffering an injury. Trish and Lita then went onto defeat Fox and James.

Banks and Bayley have been very vocal about wanting to compete against Trish and Lita in singles matches. However, WWE could potentially place all four of them into a ring together which would create magic.

But in order for this match to feel important and historic, The Boss 'n' Connection would have to win the Women's Tag Team Championships at Elimination Chamber 2019 to give both teams something special to fight for.
