5 SmackDown Live stars who desperately need to move to RAW

When the brand split first happened, fans were quite elated. The WWE Universe quickly picked sides and they were either Team Red or Team Blue. SmackDown Live felt like the fresher show, and it was easier to watch as well because of its shorter two-hour long format. Of late, that has not been the case at all, really!

There are so many superstars that feel underutilized on SmackDown Live. Honestly, giving their characters a reboot and moving them to RAW would be the right way to go about things, in our opinion. Like it or not, RAW is certainly where it all happens.

Here are 5 men and women who could certainly benefit from a trade to the other brand, when the next Superstar Shake-up does happen!

#5 Rusev

Rusev's career could pick up on RAW
Rusev's career could pick up on RAW

Rusev has become the darling of the Internet Wrestling Community with his natural charisma, innate sense of humour, incredible wrestling skills and general likeability. Much like the case was with Daniel Bryan, the fans took it upon themselves to get this guy over when the creative team faltered.

'Rusev Day' is such a popular concept that even fans outside WWE chant for it. Somehow, this hasn't translated into a push on SmackDown Live. Does Rusev even have a real program for WrestleMania 34, really?

In our opinion, Rusev will fare much better on RAW which is a brand that focuses far more on the sports-entertainment aspect of things, as compared to mere in-ring talent. Rusev can also mix it up with superstars such as Elias and Braun Strowman, and spin some comedic gold on RAW.

While SmackDown Live may be dubbed the 'land of opportunity', we believe Rusev will get far more opportunities on RAW instead.

#4 Chad Gable

Introducing the man who should have been cast as Kurt Angle's son

Chad Gable is a delight to watch in the ring. Nobody throws suplexes like he does. Whether he's working as a heel or a face, he brings it all to the ring. Unfortunately, his tag team with Benjamin is not really making waves.

We genuinely believe that Gable has a singles run in him down the line. Sadly, Gable will not really get over on SmackDown Live, because a lot of his programs haven't really had storylines attached to them. We firmly believe that to make fans care about a match, the plotline has to be compelling.

One money program that Gable could have on RAW, could be a feud with Jason Jordan. His interactions with Kurt Angle would also be priceless to watch.

We strongly believe Chad Gable could become the next AJ Styles, if he were given the ball and asked to run with it.

#3 Tye Dillinger

It's easy to forget that he's even employed in WWE!
It's easy to forget that he's even employed, quite often

Tye Dillinger made his main roster debut a year ago and the crowd was elated. 'Ten' chants took over and we all believed that he was the next big thing. All of that initial momentum is now long gone. We don't see Tye Dillinger on TV, for weeks at a stretch.

Dillinger could be an invaluable addition to the mid-card of RAW, where he could have entertaining feuds with heels such as Elias and The Miz. Imagine The Miz saying 'when my hand goes up, your mouth goes shut', and being drowned by 'ten' chants!

#2 Becky Lynch

How far has the Irish Lass Kicker fallen?
How far has the Irish Lass Kicker fallen?

Much like Rusev, Lynch gets chants of 'we want Becky', when she wrestles. She may just be the most over babyface in all of SmackDown Live, at least among the women. Unfortunately, that has not translated into her getting a real run! She may, sadly, be the most underutilized female in all of the main roster.

Lynch has always pushed for storylines for women, instead of mere matches. RAW often has real plots, as opposed to SmackDown Live...the land of 6 woman Tag Team matches. Lynch could have some great new feuds with Sasha Banks, The Iconic Duo (if they get called up) or even Nia Jax.

Lynch herself recently teased a switch to RAW when she said that moving to RAW would be the best for her.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that she was the first SmackDown Women's Champion, following the brand split. For all her potential, she's never had the opportunity to really shine!

#1 Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler needs one final RAW run, to cement his legacy
Ziggler needs one final RAW run, to cement his legacy

Ziggler hasn't been booked in the main event scene for a while. However, there isn't a shadow of a doubt that he'll be absolute gold in the main event scene if he were given a real chance. He's great in the ring and on the mic too. The only thing he lacks is opportunity.

Ziggler could really light it up on RAW. He could work with Jeff Hardy or Big Cass when they return. He could also have a great program against Seth Rollins if he were a heel, or The Miz, if he goes babyface.

Ziggler is a man who can do it all, and has done it all in WWE. He still has much to offer, and we believe we've almost seen everything he could do on SmackDown Live.

Two honourable mentions in this list would be Baron Corbin and Mojo Rawley.
