5 Things you missed from WWE Backlash

WWE Backlash wasn't the best PPV but it still had positives. The show started off hit with Miz vs Rollins although the main-event left a lot to be desired. AJ vs Styles was a good match although the finish wasn't popular with fans.

Let's take a look at some of the thing you may have missed from tonight's show.

#5: Chants during the main-event

To put it mildly, the main-event didn't go down well with the fans in New Jersey. Already unhappy at the Nakamura-Styles match ending in a double countout, they match fans decided to show their disinterest in the main-event.

Roman Reigns is already not popular with fans, and his recent feud with Brock Lesnar has not gone down well. Fans were hoping to see Styles and Nakamura in the main-event but were upset at Roman main-eventing again instead of the WWE Championship.

Starting off with "CM Punk" chants the crowd went on to chant "DELETE" and "Rusev Day".

#4: "We want Enzo"?

The funniest part of the Big Cass vs Daniel Bryan match was the brief chant for Enzo Amore. Since I can't think of anyone possible wanting Enzo back I'm assuming that the chant was ironic.

There were dueling "We want Enzo, Enzo sucks" at one point during the match where Cass was in control. It's great that Cass has so much heat that it makes fans chant for Enzo.

#3: Referees now tweet to explain their decisions

Referee Chad Patton tweeted out that he may have made a mistake at the Greatest Royal Rumble to explain the finish to Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns.

Now, after the title match between Nakamura vs Styles at Backlash, it looks like WWE referees now tweet to explain their decisions. Jason Ayers also explained his decision

#2: AJ Styles busted open

AJ Styles got busted open at Backlash in a freak accident. Nakamura was charging at AJ to hit him with the Kinshasa when AJ tossed a steel chair, catching Nakamura in the knee. The chair bounced off Nakamura's knee and his Styles in the side of the face, busting the WWE Champion open.

#1: Referee asks Braun to "scream"

I'm pretty I wasn't the only person to hear this. After that match against Owens and Zayn was over, the referee could be distinctly be heard, shouting at Braun Strowman and asking him to "scream"
