Charlotte on Ronda Rousey in WWE, how was Flair as a dad and more

A warm welcome. Hugs?

- Jonathan Coachman's "Off The Top Rope" segment on ESPN Sports Centre saw WWE Divas Champion Charlotte on the show.

Coachman began by speaking about top Survivor Series moments including The Undertaker’s debut, the Montreal Screwjob as the top swerve and the top turn with The Rock siding with Vince McMahon to win the WWE Title.

Following these talks came WWE Divas Champion Charlotte. When asked about having Ric Flair as a father figure, she said that he was pretty much like any other dad. She was given curfews and had to finish her homework like every other kid.

Having a celebrity dad brings challenges on family time. That holds true for Charlotte too, but she also claims that albeit Ric was away for a lot of times, he never failed to make up for it while at home. He used to do so by bringing lunch to school and attending all sporting events.

One might as well assume that WWE star's daughter might have similar interests, but that wasn't the case. Ric Flair’s daughter says that there was not even a single thought of pro wrestling while at college. Charlotte was a volleyball player.

During college, her goal was to get a full scholarship playing division 1 volleyball- which she landed! She claims that she had no idea about getting into pro wrestling. She wanted to be a personal trainer after college and after getting into personal training, she made the jump to pro wrestling.

Charlotte says she was initially scared since she had never imagined herself as a Diva. But even so, she wanted to impact people's life the way she did as a personal trainer.

In the midst of all this, the Divas Champion was asked about Ronda Rousey’s loss to Holly Holmes. When Rousey’s plans failed of retiring undefeated, Charlotte was asked that if at all Rousey plans on entering WWE; does she still carry the same opinions on Rousey in WWE as she did earlier?.

Answering the same, and instead of taking shots at Ronda Rousey’s huge upset, Charlotte says that she would still welcome her in WWE. Whilst the former UFC Bantamweight Champion is hiding her face from the press, there are a few like Floyd Mayweather and Charlotte respecting her as a champion she is.

Rooting for ‘Rowdy’, Charlotte says that she is proud of Rousey's achievements and is waiting for more. She hopes Ronda Rousey makes a comeback to avenge the loss. Charlotte finished it off by claiming that she is a huge Ronda Rousey Fan.
