Looking at Bo Dallas' future in WWE

Bo-Dallas

NXT is without doubt the best thing that WWE has brought up in recent times. This developmental territory has brought into WWE a plethora of future stars like Antonio Cesaro, Big E Langston and not to forget, The Shield. The future heels of the WWE look all ready for the action.

Now that we have enough heels, what about the faces? Do the present WWE heels have enough young, upcoming faces to fight against? Cena and Orton have only a few years ahead of them and after them, there aren’t a lot of wrestlers who can don the role of a top baby face, especially in the mid-card. Thus, this is without doubt the best time for Bo Dallas to enter the WWE. With wrestlers such as Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow without a proper feud, Bo Dallas’ entry into WWE gives these wrestlers a chance to have a legitimate and meaningful feud.

Bo Dallas had an impressive entry into the Royal Rumble where he eliminated Wade Barrett. When the Barrett Barrage wanted a revenge on RAW, the only thing he could find was a loss at the hand of Bo Dallas. This victory over Wade Barrett came as a shock to many of us.

Though Barrett then stemmed Dallas’ momentum by attacking him backstage, Dallas came back hard at Barrett by beating him up in RAW this week. WWE seems to be extremely impressed by this young wrestler because they have given him an open invitation to set up a feud with Barrett who looks like the future world champion of the company and not to forget, one of the top heels. He is an extremely interesting prospect for the WWE as at the mere age of 22, he holds 3 FCW titles and two tag titles with his brother.

Even in NXT, he was considered among the top talents and is indeed one of the brightest future stars in the roster today. Now that he is put against Wade Barrett, does it mean that he will get to be the Intercontinental Champion any time soon? Well, there isn’t a lot of possibility of that happening as thrusting him such a prestigious title this early isn’t a likely scenario.

However, Dallas’ present feud with Barrett is without doubt one of the best ways for any wrestler to start his career. Barrett has the right ability, strength and can be brutal. The fact that Barrett himself is a future world champion gives Dallas an excellent platform to propel high in the rankings.

For now, we could see Dallas put up a good fight against Barrett and end up with a heartbreaking loss. He would later feud with mid-carders such as Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow who have established themselves as good mid-card heels in the roster today. We haven’t seen him on the mic though and hopefully he does turn out to be a good speaker. The roster at the moment lacks good wrestlers who have appreciable mic skills and more so, the mid-card level.

At a very young age of 22, Dallas has suddenly risen to being in the main roster and with several years of Wrestling left in him, I see him becoming the poster boy of WWE one day.
