WWE is doing bigger and better business than it has in decades. The company is experiencing overwhelming success, and much of that can be credited to the incredible roster competing each week under Triple H's leadership.

Some of the many stars currently taking over television on a weekly basis include the likes of LA Knight, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn, among others. There are also the likes of Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and even both John Cena and The Rock, who appear far less frequently but have all been on TV in 2023.

There is a chance that another major name could make a comeback in 2024. Batista is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood these days, but his success truly began thanks to his time in World Wrestling Entertainment. While he is seemingly retired from the ring, one more run is always possible.

This article will look at what the Animal could do if he were to return to the wrestling ring one more time. This could either be for a one-off match or for an extended run. Regardless, there's a lot of fun to be had. What could Batista do in the modern landscape of the company?

Below are four things Batista could do if he returns to WWE in 2024.

#4. The Animal could feud with Roman Reigns

Of the many stars WWE currently has on their roster, it could be argued that Roman Reigns has become the biggest of them all. He is called The Needle Mover for a reason. When Roman is advertised for a show, ratings increase, and tickets sell.

The Tribal Chief is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He has held the Universal Championship in particular since 2020, around three and a half years total. Nobody can seemingly stop The Head Of The Table.

If Batista were to return to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2024, a feud with Roman Reigns could be a big chance at a box office hit. How would The Animal fair against The Tribal Chief? Could the legend and future Hall of Famer be the one to dethrone The Head Of The Table? It would be an interesting one to check out.

#3. Batista could win the World Heavyweight Championship

Seth Rollins

While Roman Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, there is a second world title in the company. This belt, created last year, is the World Heavyweight Championship. The prized title is currently held by Seth Rollins.

The Visionary won the belt in Saudi Arabia and has since defended it against a plethora of challengers. The likes of Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest, Bron Breakker, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn have all tried and failed to dethrone the champion.

There's a chance Batista could return and win the World Heavyweight Championship regardless of who holds it. His first world title was the previous version of the World Heavyweight Championship, so winning this variation 19 years later would be a perfect close to The Animal's career.

#2. He could manage select superstars

Batista's last match in WWE was a bout against Triple H at WrestleMania. While it is fun for fans to imagine what an in-ring return may look like, there's a strong chance that The Animal will never compete in a ring again.

The former WWE Champion not competing again doesn't inherently mean he couldn't return to television, however. The aged veteran wrestler could make his World Wrestling Entertainment return as a manager aiming to mold the stars of tomorrow.

There are many talented rookies who could use the guidance of a former World Heavyweight Champion to make it to the top of the industry. The likes of Odyssey Jones, Xyon Quinn, Oba Femi, or even Omos could use Batista's wisdom to move up the ranks in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.

#1. Batista could reunite with Randy Orton on WWE SmackDown

One of the highlights of Batista's career in WWE was Evolution. The stable formed under Triple H, with Batista, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair also being members of the stable. The four men dominated Monday Night RAW for a few years in the early-to-mid 2000s.

While the members all went their separate ways, they had brief reunions. Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton teamed up in 2014 for a series of matches against The Shield. All four members also appeared on WWE SmackDown 1,000.

Ric Flair is no longer with the company, and Triple H is now retired from in-ring competition due to health complications. Still, Randy and Batista could reunite Evolution. Who knows, the pair could even unite to battle The Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown. Could the two ever be stopped if they are on the same page?
