WWE Superstar Shotzi recently sent out a message after defeating former Women's Champion Bayley.

On the most recent episode of the WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in Tupelo, Mississippi, Shotzi faced her arch-rival, Bayley, in a singles match. The SmackDown Superstar eventually defeated The Role Model for the fifth time in less than a month. Both stars faced each other multiple times during recent live events, and the former NXT Tag Team Champion defeated the former hugger every time.

Following her victory, Shotzi took to social media to thank the crowd of Tupelo for cheering her throughout the bout. She also added that it was a wonderful experience performing at the birthplace of American singer and actor Elvis Presley.

"Wrestling in Elvis birth place! Thank you Tupelo, Mississpi!!," wrote Shotzi.

WWE Superstar Shotzi heaped praise on Bayley

WWE Superstar Shotzi broke character to heap praise on Damage CTRL member Bayley.

While speaking in an interview on WrestlingNews.co, Shotzi mentioned that she is a huge fan of The Role Model and that the latter inspires her. She further spoke about the segment where Bayley had cut her hair.

The 31-year-old stated that the storyline helped her stand up in support of her sister, who was going through chemotherapy at that point. Shotzi detailed:

"I got to work with Bayley with it too. Bayley has always been like a huge role model to me. So to have that moment with her, to share this like meaningful moment with her was really awesome, and like, you know, I didn't really like say much of it but like everyone kinda knew anyway, and like, that really resonated with my sister, and she got like a lot of support from my fans which I really love and appreciate too," Shotzi said.
