A former WWE name has won tag team gold at the age of 54. The star in question is none other than Buff Bagwell.

Buff Bagwell is mostly known for his decade-long stint in World Championship Wrestling during 1991-2001. He had an incredibly short run in WWE in 2001 after WCW folded.

23 years later, Bagwell is now a champion at 54 years old. The pro wrestling veteran and Big John Dalton have won the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team titles, as can be seen in the picture below:

The last time Bagwell won a title belt was way back in 2018. He defeated LT Falk to win the Mayhem Heavyweight title.

Bagwell's run with World Wrestling Entertainment was a forgettable one. He was one of several stars who signed a deal with the promotion immediately after WCW was purchased by Vince McMahon.

On the July 2, 2002, episode of RAW, Bagwell made his televised debut and faced Booker T with the latter's WCW Championship on the line. The bout was marred by interference from Kurt Angle and Stone Cold and ended in a no-contest.

On July 9, Bagwell was informed that he had been let go from the company. His WWE match against Booker T is widely considered by fans as one of the worst in the history of pro wrestling.

Congratulations to Buff Bagwell on his title victory!
