Former WWE champions suddenly break up after SmackDown goes off the air; both stars are upset

A WWE team has been broken up after SmackDown went off the air. This has left both stars upset.

Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin have seen quite some success together as a team. They've done it all together, including winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. While they lost the titles recently to Nathan Frazier and Axiom, there was more bad news waiting for them on SmackDown.

This week during the WWE Draft, Bron Breakker was sent to RAW as one of the picks of the red brand. While he got a quick win in only 16 seconds on the show, there was unfortunate news for him.

His tag team partner, Baron Corbin, was sent to SmackDown as part of the Draft, after the show. As a result, the two have been split up and they approached each other and reacted backstage.

Both were disappointed, yet were happy for one another. They left on amicable terms. Although they were left sad, both promised to have one another's backs even if they were on different brands.

Now, fans will have to wait and see what they do as singles stars.

Bron Breakker has already received a quick push on the main roster, and it's likely to continue. Corbin's last main roster run didn't really go as planned and he quickly lost what momentum he had. After his success on NXT, this time could prove to be different on the blue brand.

So far neither of them has had a feud on the main roster, but that could quickly change after Backlash.
