Pretty Deadly has finally impressed WWE legend: "I didn't much like them" (Exclusive)

There has been a visible influx of fresh faces from NXT to the main roster, with Pretty Deadly being impressive on SmackDown. While reviewing the latest episode, Dutch Mantell admitted that he's begun to like the young tag team.

Elton Prince and Kit Wilson have been a part of SmackDown since the 2023 Draft and, on this week's show, picked up a big win over The Brawling Brutes. Pretty Deadly has shown the ability to be a top tag team in WWE, and Dutch Mantell finally sees why the duo are so highly rated in the business.

When Prince and Wilson debuted months ago, Mantell was among the many pundits who didn't understand their act. His perception, however, has changed in recent weeks, as the legendary manager explained on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge's Smack Talk.

"I didn't call them dead on arrival, but I didn't much like them. But as they go on, and this is, I'm sure, the case with everybody, they kind of grow on you a little bit. They are always kind of happy... People kind of like them, so don't fight the wave, but I did like this match," said Mantell. [23:31 - 24:20]

Dutch Mantell on Pretty Deadly's outfits

It's safe to say that the former NXT Tag Team Champions come under that category of WWE Superstars who aren't afraid to be bold with their fashion choices.

Dutch Mantell drew attention to Pretty Deadly members' unique tops and said that, at first glance, most fans wouldn't probably take them seriously.

Dutch added:

"Well, it's entertaining, for one thing. Seeing the way the guys are dressed, with that top, and you look at them, and you say, 'Who in the hell would wear something like that?' But they look like they are having a good time, and I enjoy their stuff. When I first saw them, I went, 'Nah.'" [22:50 - 23:30]

However, Mantell felt that the British tag team was amusing to watch on TV and predicted them to improve as they spent more on the main roster.
