A very popular faction could potentially be the first overall pick tonight in the WWE Draft. This year's draft will begin tonight on SmackDown and continue on next Monday's edition of WWE RAW.

The NFL Draft is currently underway, and the promotion is hoping to capitalize on the buzz. While champions (excluding the Women's Tag Team Champions) are locked to their current brands, the draft represents a fresh start for many stars.

According to BetOnline, The Bloodline is currently favored as the first selection tonight on SmackDown. Bianca Belair is also favored to be the first female superstar selected in this year's draft. You can check out the rest of the odds by clicking here.

The Bloodline has made some changes in recent weeks on SmackDown. Solo Sikoa appears to have made himself the new leader, as Roman Reigns has been absent since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.

Jimmy Uso has been kicked out of The Bloodline and has been replaced by Tama Tonga. The veteran unleashed a brutal attack on Kevin Owens last Friday night on SmackDown.

Former WWE manager comments on the direction of The Bloodline

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell has discussed the changes to The Bloodline and believes that they could be running into an issue.

Speaking on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell stated that the faction may have too many Samoans, especially if Jacob Fatu joins as well. He noted that there can be too much of a good thing, but the company will likely make it work.

"This is what I worry though. They are stocking it up with too many Samoans at this point. There is too much of a good thing. Now they will make it work, I'm not saying that. But I am saying, I mean they got a ton right now. They got seven before they added anybody," he said. [From 03:05 onwards]
