The 'King of the Ring' to be brought back by the WWE

King of the Ring set to make a comeback on WWE TV

- The WWE revealed during last night’s Extreme Rules PPV that the King of the Ring tournament will be returning on WWE TV this week. While not a lot of details were revealed, the finals of the tournament is set to be aired on Tuesday night on the WWE Network.

Past winners of the WWE King of the Ring PPV include WWE Hall of famers such as Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin etc. The last King of the Ring of note was Sheamus, who could be in the running to win it his time too.
