WWE News: Tommaso Ciampa mocks Kassius Ohno on Twitter ahead of their match next week

What’s the story?

Ahead of their scheduled one-on-one match which has been set for next week’s edition NXT, Tommaso Ciampa took it to his official Twitter handle recently in order to take a brutal shot at his forthcoming opponent Kassius Ohno.

In case you didn’t know…

Ever since making his return to NXT at TakeOver: Philadelphia in January of 2018, Ciampa has made has been engaged in an intense feud against his former tag partner Johnny Gargano and has made his life a living hell to say the least.

However, at TakeOver: New Orleans, Gargano finally got his revenge on Ciampa after defeating him in a brutal and gruesome Unsanctioned match and in doing so, reinstated himself as an NXT superstar.

The heart of the matter

Since losing to Gargano at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, Ciampa is yet to compete in a match under WWE’s developmental brand, however, during this week’s edition of NXT, it was announced that The Psycho Killer will make his in-ring return next week as he gets set to go toe-to-toe with The Knockout Artist Ohno.

Following the announcement, Ciampa didn’t waste much time in reflecting on his upcoming showdown, as he took it to Twitter and mocked Ohno’s appearance by calling him a “bench player for his intramural men’s basketball team”, whereas, referring himself as one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time.

What’s next?

Ciampa and Ohno will square-off on next week’s episode of NXT and their match definitely promises to be a solid affair.

The fact that Ciampa is one of the greatest heels in today’s Pro Wrestling business is absolutely undeniable and his very recent tweet totally proves how much of a sadist he actually is.
