Viscera's widow files wrongful death lawsuit against WWE, Lawyers respond

Despite seemingly coming to good terms with WWE several months back, the widow of former wrestling star Viscera (Nelson Frazier) has now filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company. Cassandra Frazier alleges WWE contributed to her husband’s death by allowing him to suffer brain injuries in the ring, not treating them, and concealing the dangers of such head trauma.

WWE’s laywers immediately responded with the following statement: “WWE has not been served with a lawsuit by Cassandra Frazier. If served, we will vigorously contest this lawsuit brought by the same lawyers who have been soliciting people to sue WWE without merit.”

It’s worth noting that there was no public mention of Frazier having brain injuries at the time of his death last year, which was recorded as being caused by a heart attack by the coroner.

He worked for WWE on and off for several years as Mabel, Vicsera and Big Daddy V, but was released when the company grew concerned about his weight and overall health.

WWE is in the midst of several concussion related lawsuits.
