WWE Superstar in trance during RAW; abandons partner

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, former champion Nikki Cross made her televised in-ring return, where she teamed up with Natalya to take on Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.

Green and Natalya started things off in the ring, and the latter tried to win the match early by going for the cover multiple times. Piper distracted Nattie, and Chelsea attacked her from behind and hit her with a kick. The Hot Mess then tagged in Niven.

Meanwhile, Natalya's partner, Nikki Cross, was standing on the apron without moving. She wasn't even trying to tag herself in. It's as if she was in a trance. Piper Niven clotheslined Natalya after tagging in Chelsea. The WWE veteran took out Green with a release German Suplex.

She then nailed her with a spinning clothesline for a two-count. Chelsea Green tagged in Piper, leading to a two-on-one situation. Green hit Nattie with the Jumping Unprettier while her partner performed a crossbody to win the match.

The duo have not defended the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship since they won the titles, so it'll be interesting to see who their first challengers will be.
