What happened to Brock Lesnar after Battleground went off air?

Lesnar stayed down as Heyman looks on

The crowd in St. Louis, Missouri witnessed an unexpected ending to the Battleground main event as the feud experienced a big twist at the end. WWE World Heavyweight title contender Brock Lesnar was about to pin the champion, Seth Rollins, when Undertaker made an unanticipated return thus proving that the rumours about him were indeed true.

Taker cost Lesnar his match as he delivered a Chokeslam which was followed by a couple of Tombstone Piledrivers. As The Beast lay slayed on the floor, the Phenom walked out of the arena as Battleground went off the air.

Following that, Lesnar managed to get himself up on his feet and stood alone in the ring looking disappointed as the crowd applauded his efforts. He then exited the squared circle and was accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman as they headed towards backstage to close the PPV.
