WWE confirms Brock Lesnar's next opponent, WWE shows Hulk Hogan in Sting video, Nikki Bella

Lenar to face Big Show from the WWE Network Special at Madison Square Garden

- At first it was reported that Brock Lesnar would repeat the slaughter that occurred the night after SummerSlam and face Bo Dallas from the WWE Network special at Madison Square Garden on 3 October. However, the plans have changed and now have in front of an old rival, The Big Show.

The Giant and The Beast clashed last in the 2014 Royal Rumble, where Lesnar attacked Show with a chair before the meeting, making it easy to overcome in a few minutes. With that began a successful year for which Lesnar broke the Undertaker's streak and captured the World Heavyweight Championship. Now that Lesnar faces a slump after losing the World Heavyweight Championship WWE at WrestleMania and be defeated by The Undertaker at SummerSlam, almost a perfect inverse of what had been the previous year, he will meet with The Big Show, situation that could change their fate, or worse. In an updated promo, Paul Heyman called the match an earth shattering spectacle.

- WWE has been airing highlights of Sting's career to hype his match against Big Show on RAW and when showing footage from WCW Starrcade 1997 with Sting's match against Hulk Hogan, while they didn’t mention Hogan's name, they did show him in the footage.

- As seen on WWE Raw, Nikki Bella broke the longest reigning WWE Divas Championship record previously held by AJ Lee. She posted a long response on Instagram, along with a picture of her holding the Divas Championship.
