Former WWE superstar Daniel Bryan was spotted backstage during the recent tapings of NXT, which has led to the rumour mills speculating in full swing reports wrestlinginc.com.
The news, first broken by PWInsider, also stated that he visited the event and viewed most of the proceedings backstage at the gorilla position. Bryan seemed to confirm his presence at the tapings after he took to social networking site Instagram to post a picture of himself at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Bryan, who won numerous titles in the WWE including the World Heavyweight Championship, chose to hang up his wrestling boots due to medical reasons in February of this year.
The 35-year-old announced his decision via social networking site Twitter, appearing in the ring to give an extremely emotional retirement speech hours later, where he thanked the crowd and stated how wrestling brought him happiness in his life.
However, Bryan still has three years remaining on his WWE contract, and now works for the franchise in an ambassadorial role, while continuing to remain a key figure on Total Divas.
Whether his appearance at the NXT tapings leads to anything new for the fan favourite though, remains to be seen.
