Rumor round-up: Dudley's HIAC update, Kevin Owens's next contender, Ziggler's heel turn

Ten-time Tag team Champions after Hell In a Cell?

- The Dudleys are geared up for another shot at New Day’s Tag team Championship at the upcoming Hell In a Cell pay-per-view and from the looks of it, they might walk out with the belts around their waists.

According to Danny Cox from Inquisitr, the Dudley boyz might very well be the new Tag team Champions when everything is said and done. After coming up short at Night Of Champions, except the brothers from Dudleyville to become the WWE tag team champions for the tenth time in their career.

- Dean Ambrose’s Hell In a Cell match against Strowman and Harper was abruptly called off due to the untimely injury of Randy Orton, who was supposed to be his partner. That does not mean WWE doesn’t have anything in mind for the Lunatic Fringe as he might be the next contender to Kevin Owen’s intercontinental title.

WWE announced Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens for the IC title at the next MSG live special on 26th of December, which pretty much makes this promising feud a very big possibility.

Dean Ambrose might very well end up crashing Owens’s party after he retains his IC title against Ryback at Hell In a Cell to announce himself as the next challenger. These are just speculations, but if you connect the dots, it all makes complete sense from a storyline and business perspective.

- Ziggler turning heel and taking Cena’s U.S. title belt off him is a more believable rumor doing the rounds. Although Ziggler is scheduled to be in a six-man tag team match at the Hell In a Cell pre-show, you can never count out the option of Ziggler being Cena’s mystery opponent.

According to Inquisitr, if WWE doesn’t go ahead the said route, Ziggler costing Cena the U.S. title by an interference would make for a perfect swerve and turn.
