Mick Foley high on NXT star, Finn Balor talks NXT being rock and roll wrestling

Foley predicts a great WWE future for Crews

- Apollo Crews has arrived at NXT with a bang and is rapidly accumulating a lot of believers with his talent and potential of being a top draw. The latest being Mick Foley who was very excited about what the future holds for the talented superstar.

He predicted that Crews would have a really huge WWE future if he continues on his path and posted a note about the new NXT recruit on facebook. Below is the post:

DID I JUST SEE THAT? That's what I kept asking myself while catching up on NXT last night, and seeing Apollo Crews in action. While the road to stardom to WWE can be paved with roadblocks - both physical and psychological - I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this man playing a major role on WWE Raw, Smackdown and PPV for years to come.

I think the major consensus is this guy is a rising star, and if a few breaks fall in his favor, the sky seems to be the limit for him in WWE. As is usually the case, finding the right opponents, and creating memorable programs - as opposed to having a good series of random matches - is the key to really breaking through in sports entertainment.

Formerly known as Uhaa Nation in the indies, Crews is one for the future for sure and his talent in the ring is a statement of why the WWE and Mick Foley are high on him.

- The NXT champion Finn Balor is surely putting over NXT fro the brand it is and is very excited about the quality it produces every week. Balor says that NXT has made wrestling cool again during an interview in Houston, Texas while he and Bayley were on an NXT mini-tour.

He says, “A lot of people used to dub NXT as a developmental territory for WWE but really NXT, in the last year especially, has shown tremendous growth. It’s kind of making wrestling cool again. As you can see here, it’s like rock and roll wrestling. This is fun, it’s entertaining. NXT is just cool, it’s just cool man.”

NXT is certainly the place to be and with the arrival of some exciting prospects in Asuka, Apollo Crews, Samoa Joe and a bunch of other lined up such as a possible Jay Lethal signing. You wouldn't want to miss out on the ‘Rock and Roll’ for sure.
