WWE Monday Night RAW: Live coverage and results - December 8, 2014

Hello everyone and welcome to our live coverage of Monday Night Raw. We are at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC for the go home show as TLC pay-per-view is just a week away from now.

Raw kicks off with Slammy Awards Seth Green who is interrupted by Miz and Mizdow. Miz says it’s time for the nominees for “his” award, the “This Is Awesome – Moment of the Year” award.

John Cena vs Big Show (Main Event)

The match begins as the Crowd chants “Let’s go Cena, Cena sucks!” Show is dominating Cena in the early stages. Cena comes back with a DDT. Cena locks sShow in the Sleephold. Big Show rolls him over and powes him out. Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Show catches him for the ChokeSlam. Cena FU’s Show but Rollins and his stooges interrupt before he could go for the three-count.

They continue to assault Cena but Ziggler comes out to save him. They take out Rollins, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury but Show knocks out both of them. Rowan comes out next but Harper and Show take him out at ringside.

Ryback is out next. He tries to put Harper through the table but Kane interferes and hits him with the chair. Ziggler is back in the ring as he kicks Show in the face. Harper puts Ziggler through the table before he gets FU’ed by Cena.

Rollins Curb Stomps him and with the help of his stooges they put Cena through the announcers’ table. Kane, Harper, Rollins, Show stand tall inside the ring to end the show.

ROMAN REIGNS is the winner! He is in the arena to pick up the “Superstar of the Year” award. Reigns promises that he will step up his game and it doesn’t matter if Cena, Lesnar or even Vince McMahon is in his way. Believe That!

Booker T is out to present “Superstar of the Year” award. Who will win it? Cena, Roman Reigns or the Beast Brock Lesnar?

Big show is in backstage with Renee Young. He says that people don’t understand how he had to take the decision of going against Team Cena for supporting his family. He says he will show Erick Rowan what it is to face the Angry Giant on Sunday night at TLC.

Chris Jericho wins “Extreme Moment of the Year” for his body drop on Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules. Fandango picks up the award on his behalf.

Next up, we have “Extreme Moment of the Year” award. And who better to present it than Rob Van Dam!

AJ Lee vs Summer Rae

Summer keeps mocking AJ Lee as AJ unleashes on her. CM Punk chants from a section of the crowd. AJ locks Summer in the Balck Widow and picks up a victory.

And the winner for “Match of The Year” is Team Cena vs Team Authority.

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is in the house. He is here to announce “Match of the Year” Award. Will Daniel Bryan win it for his heroic win at Wrestlemania 31 or will Team Cena win it for eliminating The Authority?

Kane, Miz and Damien Mizdow vs Ryback and The Usos

Tag-team action in progress. Crowd chants “we want Mizdow“ as the match goes on. Jimmy and Jey take out Kane with a high-flying move at Ringside. Ryback hits the Shell Shock on Miz to pick up a win for his team. Seth Green joins them as they celebrate their victory in the ring. The first Slammy award of 1986 award is aired.

Winner – Ryback and The Usos

Lana and Rusev are out next. They taunt USA and Jack Swagger interrupts. He tortures Rusev as he puts the Patriot Lock on the Belgian Brute. The officials pull them apart.

Lol Moment of The Year goes to Damien Mizdow and The Miz.

Erick Rowan vs Luke Harper

Rowan defeats Harper with in a non-tile match via DQ.

Winner - Erick Rowan

John Cena talks about Rollins backstage and possibly putting him through a table to win on Sunday. Cena says he’s going to prove to everyone tonight that he’s not done stepping up. Cena gets fired up and walks off.

Next we have the winner of Diva of The Year award as Jerry Lawler announces AJ Lee as the winner.

Bray Wyatt interrupts and makes his way into the ring. He cuts a short promo talking about Dean Ambrose taking away something very precious to him which can never be replaced and he will do the same.

What’s this? An ambulance enters the arena and look who’s here! It’s Dean Ambrose! He is standing at the back of the ambulance with a neck brace on.

Ambrose tosses a table on the stage and pulls a ladder and a chair out of the ambulance. He stands on the stage and rips off the neck brace. He tosses the chair in but Wyatt moves away. Ambrose says the only way Wyatt is leaving TLC is in the back of an ambulance. He also promises to eat him alive on Sunday.

Santino comes out next and reveals Brock Lesnar as the winner ending The Undertaker’s Streak at WrestleMania is the Most Shocking Moment of the Year. Paul Heyman comes out to accept and cuts a quick promo.

Charlotte drops an elbow for a 2 count. She keeps control but Natalya counters and goes for a Sharpshooter. Charlotte counters that with a Figure Four but Natalya turns it into a roll up for the win.

Winner – Natalya.

Kofi Kingston (w/ The New Day) vs Stardust (w/ Goldust)

Kofi hits a Boom Drop and splashes Stardust in the corner, then he connects with a top rope crossbody for the win.

Winner – Kofi Kingston

John Laurinitis appears next as he talks about people wanting People Power back. He announces the Return of the Year nominees which include The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Batista and Ultimate Warrior.

And the winner of the Slammy is The Ultimate Warrior.

Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins

Ziggler and Rollins are competing in the first match of the night. Dolph splashes him and hits a neckbreaker, then he hits an elbow drop and follows with a DDT attempt. Mercury and Noble interfere and jump on the apron. The ref gets rid of Noble, but he doesn’t see Mercury shove Dolph, and Rollins uses the distraction to hit a Curb Stomp for the win.

Winner – Seth RollinsAnd the Slammy for “This Is Awesome – Moment of the Year” award goes to Sting.

Rollins picks up the award and says that Sting is the reason the Authority lost at Survivor Series. Rollins says he will accept the award on Sting’s behalf, because Sting doesn’t deserve it, and he does.
