With the return of WWE Draft, it was confirmed that several enhancement talents from NXT will be called up to the main roster. The two brands, Raw and SmackDown, will be separated again and feature unique rosters, these NXT superstars will be getting a chance on either of the two show,
As reported by wrestlinginc.com, it seems that NXT Superstar Billie Kay will be making her main roster debut on this week's edition of SmackDown. As the matches for SmackDown were taped in Miami, fans noted that Kay worked in a match against Dana Brooke for the blue brand.
Kay has been involved in wrestling since she was 18 and has wrestled for Pro Wrestling Alliance Australia before she was hired by WWE. PWI ranked her #34 of the top 50 female singles wrestlers in the PWI Female 50 in 2012.
Billie Kay was signed by the company during WWE’s tour of Australia in August 2014 and she was eventually sent to the developmental territory, NXT. She made her NXT debut, last year in June and portrayed a babyface character for a few months. Soon, she was booked in a heel gimmick and her villainous role started from October. Of late, she has been working several tapings and live events.
Her transtition from NXT to main roster is yet to be confirmed. Some reports hint that, she was only used for this week’s SmackDown tapings and will be continueing to work in NXT.
