Bray Wyatt was on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast recently. The New Face of Fear spoke about his disappointing role at Wrestlemania 32 last year in Dallas, his most memorable Wrestlemania entrance and the future of the Wyatt Family.
In case you didn’t know...
Bray Wyatt has come into his element of late. Touted as a sound worker in the ring, Wyatt had not been able to break through the glass ceiling. But things have changed over the past couple of months with Bray first winning the Smackdown LIVE tag team championships last year, and then going on to become the WWE Champion at Elimination Chamber earlier this year.

The heart of the matter
Wyatt revealed that he was not in the best state of mind going into Wrestlemania last year. He mentioned that he was a little beat up physically as well. Wyatt clarified that he wanted to be the next Rock, rather than just another guy for the People’s Champ to show up and bury.
He divulged that he used all the pent up anger and frustration from last year’s Mania in his match this year.
He also spoke about his Wrestlemania entrance in his match against the Undertaker back in 2015, calling it his favourite one ever. He said, as far as visual spectacles go, 106,000 people waving their flashlights during their entrance last year made for a great visual treat as well.
What’s next?
Bray Wyatt made his presence felt on RAW this Monday when he attacked Finn Balor during the number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship. This attack has efficiently planted the seeds for a new storyline with the Wyatt Family Patriarch and the Demon King.

A large part of the WWE Universe believes that Bray Wyatt had been underutilised during the early years of his career. There were rumors that he was dealing with an injury during Wrestlemania last year, owing to him not having a match at the event.
Later Rock and Cena made short work of the entire Wyatt Family to earn some pops from the fans in attendance. However, Wyatt has been booked much better of late, and his rivalry with Balor will add an interesting touch to his twisted psyche.
