WWE News: Despite their recent engagement, Nikki Bella says that John Cena still doesn't want kids

John Cena and Nikki Bella are finally tying the knot after ‘The Leader Of The Cenation’ popped the question at WrestleMania 33. The pair successfully defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag match after weeks of feuding on SmackDown LIVE. John Cena has stated on numerous occasions that he doesn’t want children and according to Nikki Bella, he will not soften his stance on this matter.

In case you didn’t know...

Cena married his first wife, Elizabeth Huberdeau, back in 2009. However, the pair decided to get a divorce just three years later. After splitting from his first wife, John Cena started a relationship with Nikki Bella.

The heart of the matter

TMZ caught up with Nikki Bella to talk about the engagement and stated that she had no idea that John would actually propose despite the rumours on the internet. Bella said that Cena is a very private person, so she pretty much dismissed the rumours altogether. After losing hope that she and John would ever get married, Nikki didn’t put much thought into \ her dream wedding, so she currently doesn’t have any ideas in mind for the ceremony.

However, Nikki did say that Cena is standing firm on is that fact that he does not want kids. “No there won’t be,” Bella said. John doesn’t want kids, so we’re not going to have kids.” You can check out Bella’s interview with TMZ in the video player below:

What’s next?

Cena and Nikki’s wedding is sure to be quite the media spectacle. The Miz did have a point on SmackDown when he said that the wedding would help promote the Total Divas reality show on E!. Once the two do finally set a date and make plans for their wedding ceremony, expect the media to be all over it.

It’s great that one of Nikki Bella’s dreams is coming true. Although she may not be a mother one day, she will be marrying the lover of her life in John Cena.
