What's the story?

WWE's official Twitter handle recently posted a question for fans, asking them to give a team name for Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Rollins responded to the question with a straight "NO", making it clear that he isn't a fan of the couple getting a name, going forward.

In case you didn't know...

Ever since Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch made their relationship official, fans have noticed that WWE has publicly acknowledged the same on several occasions. At WWE Stomping Grounds, Becky Lynch came out during the closing moments of the main event to even the odds and help Rollins retain his Universal Title.

The couple got into a feud with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, and are about to defend their titles against them in a mixed tag team match at Extreme Rules. Becky was seen humiliating Corbin when the latest edition of Raw went off the air.

The heart of the matter

Rollins recently opened up about WWE using his relationship with Becky Lynch in storylines. He stated that although both of them were hesitant at the beginning, they soon realized that there was potential in putting both of them together on WWE TV, and they agreed to go ahead with it.

Now, it seems like WWE wants the fans to give the duo a team name, if its recent tweet is any indication. WWE asked the fans to come up with a tag team name for the couple. Rollins chimed in on the discussion, and responded with a single word: 'No'.

It looks like Rollins wouldn't be thrilled if WWE goes ahead with a team name for the duo in the near future.

What's next?

Rollins' stance on the subject is clear as day, but it would be interesting to see what Becky thinks about it. Maybe she could come up with something that changes Seth's mind.
