What’s the story?
Triple H may go down in history as one of the most diabolical villains in wrestling history, but outside the ring, he’s anything but. Whether it’s letting Connor “The Crusher” Michalek pin him in the middle of the ring or breaking character to comfort a young fan ringside, Triple H has never let kayfabe keep him from acting like a decent guy to the WWE fanbase.

It’s doubtful that even he knew just how much of an impact he’d have on the life of a young fan a decade later.
The background
in 2007, during a WWE UK tour stop in Cardiff, Wales, Triple H met Luke Woodley, then a little over 7 years old. Woodley suffers from spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy and, at the time before meeting ‘The Game’ hadn’t spoken at all.
In fact, doctors had told Luke’s family that he would never speak. However, after a short meeting with the former WWE Champion, Luke began showing signs of speech development. Now, Triple H is no miracle worker and Luke wasn’t belting out complete sentences or anything, but it was way more progress than anyone had expected.
The heart of the matter
Ten years later, Luke’s family reached out to WWE and Triple H via Twitter as the company made their annual triple to Europe.
Luke and his family were backstage at the Smackdown Live tapings at the O2 Arena in London and while Triple H wasn’t able to be in attendance, he did leave his fan a personalised video message.

What’s next?
WWE Stars have the power to change people and the world in general and this is a prime example of the same.

It’s easy to look at something like this in a cynical manner and consider it just a good publicity grab. But, it’s obvious that moments like this mean a lot to kids like this, and it’s clear Triple H genuinely enjoys being able to do things like this.
