What’s the story?
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus agreed with fans’ opinion on social media that NXT Superstar Mandy Rose bears an eerie resemblance to her.
A fan Tweeted out a photograph of Mandy Rose and Vanessa Borne posing together backstage at an NXT live event in Rochester, New York, tagging Trish Stratus in the post and pointing out the similarity between her and Rose.
In response to the aforementioned fan’s post, Stratus concurred that Mandy Rose does indeed look like her.
And Rose replied as well:
A while later, another fan-post saw Trish Stratus and Mandy Rose photographed beside one another, with most fans pointing out the similarities between the two popular pro-wrestlers.
In case you didn’t know…
Trish Stratus, whose real name is Patricia Anne Stratigeas, performed for the WWE from 2000-06 and has made sporadic appearances in the business ever since.
On the other hand, Mandy Rose (Amanda Saccomanno) has performed for the WWE since 2015, and currently competes in NXT.
The heart of the matter
In reference to previous comparisons drawn between Stratus and Rose, the latter’s recent backstage photo at the NXT live event in Rochester got the professional wrestling community buzzing with the sheer amazement of matching features the two wrestlers share with each other.
Following Trish Stratus’ acknowledgement of Mandy Rose’s similarity to herself, the NXT Superstar replied to whom she has often referred to as her idol.

Trish Stratus presently serves as an ambassador of the WWE and is busy pursuing other endeavours outside the pro-wrestling business.

It remains to be seen whether Rose can ascend to the top of the food chain in the WWE, like Stratus did.
