WWE News: Vince Russo criticizes Sasha Banks after Raw Segment

Former WCW and WWE booker Vince Russo turned many heads this week when he offered some very harsh words for the segment involving Sasha Banks on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

Concluding from these comments made in a series of tweets by the former WCW Employee, Vince seems to be unhappy with Banks' negative comments about the infamous Bra and Panty matches from the Attitude Era.

As seen in the below tweets Russo is trying to defend the women wrestlers of that time by saying that they did not have the booking power and it was all done to win the Monday Night Wars:

The GREAT women wrestlers before Sasha didn't book the bra-n-panties matches--Ed and I did to HELP WIN A WAR. A WAR that saved the company.

I'm a Sasha Banks fan, but I think she just slighted some GREAT female athletes who performed at top levels while drawing huge ratings.

The argument went even further when some wrestling fans started mocking the former WWE writer over his past comments and he is seen making some very aggressive comments on 'Reverse Sexism' which has been a hot topic among fans recently:

It's notable here that Vince Russo was one of WWE's prominent bookers from 1992 to 1999. After being fired from the company he worked for WCW for a while and also worked as a writer for TNA for a long time.
