Interesting activity on Matt Hardy’s Twitter account as of late seems to indicate that there could still be confusion regarding his gimmick in the WWE.
In case you didn’t know...
Matt Hardy has won the WWE Tag Team championship on six different occasions. However, he has only won the Raw exclusive Tag team titles on two occasions. This is including his current reign.
His last run with the Raw Tag team title came back in August 2007. Hardy along with MVP won the title from Deuce ‘n Domino and held it for more than two months. They eventually dropped the title to Miz and John Morrison.

The heart of the matter
Hardy changed his Twitter name a few times over the course of past couple of days. First, it was changed from ‘Broken Matt Hardy’ to ‘Matt Hardy V1’. Matt then changed it to ‘#Broken Brilliance’ and then to ‘Mattitude’.
He also tweeted the phrase ‘Matt Facts’ which was an integral part of the gimmick he played back in 2002.
Matt has since then changed his name of Twitter to #Broken Matt Hardy again.
What’s next?
The legal battle between the Hardy Family and Impact Wrestling is still going on. We could get to see the Broken Gimmick being used in WWE if Hardy Family wins. Matt’s unusual activity on Twitter could be an indication of what he has planned for the future.

The way in which Matt deals with his Twitter account is brilliant. He is keeping the door open for the Broken Gimmick to be used in WWE. At the same time, he is preparing himself for an alternative gimmick if things don’t go perfectly.
