Fans on X have urged Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Al-Nassr at the end of the season after the club were held to a 1-1 draw by rivals Al-Hilal in a Saudi Pro League fixture at the Al-Awwal Stadium on Friday (May 17). Al-Hilal netted a controversial last-minute penalty to keep their unbeaten streak alive.

Faris Najd gave Al-Nassr the perfect start when Otavio found the top-right corner with a brilliant long-range screamer in the first minute. Ronaldo then missed three big chances but Al-Nassr appeared to have done enough to secure the win.

However, in the 95th minute, Sadio Mane caught Saud Abdulhamid in the face. Despite the foul appearing to be outside the box, the referee controversially awarded Al-Hilal a penalty after consulting the pitchside monitor. Aleksandar Mitrovic netted from the spot to preserve his side's unbeaten streak.

After the game, fans on social media have urged Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Al-Nassr at the end of the season with a move to boyhood club Sporting CP being touted as an ideal destination.

One fan posted:

How did Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr fare in their 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal?

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr dropped two points against Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal on Friday. The latter now have 90 points from 32 games and are unbeaten in 32 games, winning 29 and drawing three. Meanwhile, Al-Nassr are second with 78 points, winning 25 games, drawing three, and losing four.

Al-Hilal dominated possession with 65 percent of the ball. They also attempted 568 passes with an accuracy of 89 percent. In contrast, Cristiano Ronaldo and company had 35 percent possession, attempting 310 passes with an accuracy of 74 percent.

The visitors also statistically did better in attack, landing 15 shots with three being on target. However, Al-Nassr had better opportunities to score which Ronaldo was guilty of missing. They mustered nine shots, landing three on target.
