Although there are numerous Bounty Boards scattered all over the Fortnite island, some are more visible than others. However, they all have one thing in common, which is that they provide players with contracts to complete in exchange for Gold Bars. At times, hunting down the targets is easy, while at others they manage to turn the tables.

Seeing as to how difficult encounters can be, many players avoid taking up bounties. To right this wrong and coax players into becoming bounty hunters, Epic Games is offering 20,000 XP just to interact with the Bounty Board. That said, here's how to go about the task.

Where to find and accept a bounty from a Bounty Board within 30 seconds of landing in Fortnite - A step-by-step guide

1) Land at a POI or landmark that has a Bounty Board

A total of 30 Bounty Boards can be found across the game's map. Players are free to land and interact with any one of these to complete this challenge. However, the first task is to find one in a relatively safe POI.

One of the best places to interact with the Bounty Board is a mini-island called Launchpad. This landmark can be located far east off the coast of the mainland. This is the location from which The Scientist launched his rockets at the start of Fortnite Chapter 3.

Currently home to a runway platform, this should make it easier to spot from the air. To save players' time and effort, it's best to mark the location on the minimap before jumping off the Battle Bus.

2) Interact with the Bounty Board as soon as possible

Since this small island barely sees any gunfights, players can land here without worrying about running into gunfire. It's as calm of a location as it can get for a battle royale game. That said, the Bounty Board is located inside the building adjacent to the rocket silos.

As soon as players touch the ground, they should interact with the Bounty Board without wasting any time. Once complete, they can look for loot to gear up and enjoy their hard-earned 20,000 XP.

3) Complete the bounty for Gold (extra step)

For those wanting to complete the bounty and earn some gold, here's some more useful information. Given that the intended target will be nearby, rotating to their position as quickly as possible is ideal. However, before doing so, make sure to stock up on ammo and healing supplies.

Since the island is surrounded by fishing holes, use harpoon guns and fishing rods to find fish as a secondary source of healing items. If players are lucky, a high rarity weapon could be acquired as well.

Considering that players will be able to track their bounty target's position on the minimap, getting into a good firing position should be an easy task. As soon as the target comes into sight, open fire and eliminate the target to fulfill the contract. If the target finds a vehicle to rotate, pursuing them is not worth the risk. Players may run into indirect fire coming from other opponents.
