Almost every year, Mojang comes up with a new update for their popular sandbox game, Minecraft. Ever since the game was released, it has continued to grow more and more. Furthermore, due to the sandbox nature, which gives the community the ability to add third-party custom features, the game is still played by millions on a monthly basis.

This year, Mojang once again held their annual live show, which delivered information about all their games and revealed the new Minecraft 1.21 update. Although they have not revealed when exactly it will be released, there is always room for speculation.

Mojang has almost always updated the sandbox game in early June if you look back at the updates in recent years. November and December have also been the preferred publication months.

The upcoming Minecraft 1.21 update's development timeframe closely resembles that of the previous Trails and Tales 1.20 update, so it makes sense to assume that its release time window would be similar as well. This may indicate a release date in or around June.

Players can also stay connected to Mojang's official social media platforms for any official announcements about the exact release date. Mojang will probably settle on the date as time goes on and announce it a few months before the full release.

Trial chambers, the update's most significant new addition, will come with a number of new features. It was the first thing Mojang revealed during the live event. These new buildings will be made of tuff brick blocks and copper blocks, such as trapdoors and copper doors. A new copper bulb block that can emit light will also be added with the update.

This structure contains new trial spawner blocks that will spawn various hostile creatures depending on the number of players nearby. After the battle, it rewards players with useful loot and enters a cooldown period before summoning enemies once more. Based on its pattern, players can learn the kind of mob it will generate. In the trial chambers, there is a new mob called Breeze that can unleash a unique wind charge to deal damage via a blast. If a player is hit with a wind charge directly, they will take damage; otherwise, they will only be knocked back.

Last but not least, the 1.21 update to Minecraft will include a brand-new redstone block named the Crafter. With the help of a redstone contraption, this nifty block will let players automatically craft items. They can also configure slots inside the crafter block for quick and accurate crafting.
